TikToker Samiya Hijab Withdraws Kidnapping Allegations Against Ex-Fiancé

ISLAMABAD, September 12 — Social media influencer Samiya Hijab has withdrawn her kidnapping allegations against her former fiancé, Hassan Zahid, announcing that she forgave him “fi sabilillah” — for the sake of Allah.

In a statement shared online, Samiya said Zahid and his family sought her pardon, after which she chose to drop her complaint. She emphasized that no financial settlement was involved and confirmed Zahid had provided a written undertaking promising no future action against her.

Earlier, Samiya had accused Zahid of abduction and violence, expressing fears of retaliation following their broken engagement. With the matter now settled privately, she stated that she no longer feels threatened.
