Samiya Hijab Withdraws Complaints, Hassan Zahid Granted Bail

ISLAMABAD, September 15, 2025 — In a surprising turn, Islamabad’s district and sessions court granted bail to Hassan Zahid after social media influencer Samiya Hijab withdrew her complaints. Hijab, who had previously accused Zahid of harassment, threats, and even attempting to force her into his car, told the court she no longer wished to pursue the case.

The settlement comes after weeks of heated public debate, Instagram statements, and skipped hearings that fueled speculation.
