COAS Asim Munir Reviews Flood Relief Efforts in Kasur and Multan

KASUR, September 12, 2025 — Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited flood-affected areas in Kasur Sector and the Flood Relief Camp in Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan, to review the prevailing situation and ongoing rescue operations.

During the visit, COAS Munir received a detailed briefing on the ground realities and stressed the need for greater coordination between civil administration and military teams to ensure maximum relief for the victims. He highlighted the urgency of accelerating infrastructural development to prevent recurring flood devastation, stating that Pakistan cannot afford the loss of precious lives and properties year after year.

The Army Chief reaffirmed the military’s full support for flood victims and called for inclusive, people-centric governance to address their long-term needs.
