PMDC Shifts MDCAT 2025 to Domicile-Based System

ISLAMABAD, September 18, 2025 — The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that the MDCAT 2025 will be conducted on a domicile basis, with candidates required to take the test in their home provinces.

Universities including IBA Sukkur, Bolan University Quetta, and SZAB Medical University Islamabad will oversee the process. Special quotas have been set for Sindh, Balochistan, AJK, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The exam has been rescheduled from October 5 to October 26 due to recent rains and floods, with PMDC pledging fair access for students nationwide.
