Pakistan Army Neutralizes 35 Terrorists in Back-to-Back KP Operations

PESHAWAR, September 13 — Pakistan’s security forces carried out successive intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eliminating at least 35 terrorists linked to Indian-sponsored networks in Bajaur and South Waziristan.

According to the military’s media wing, 22 militants were killed in Bajaur after an intense gun battle, while 13 more were neutralized in South Waziristan. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered during the raids.

The operations came at a heavy cost, with 12 soldiers embracing martyrdom while fighting “with unmatched bravery,” ISPR said. Officials confirmed that several of the slain militants were Afghan nationals and that Afghan soil had been used to launch attacks against Pakistan.

Follow-up sanitization drives have been launched to prevent militant regrouping. The Army reiterated its resolve to dismantle all networks involved in cross-border terrorism and safeguard national security.
