Maryam Nawaz Pledges Full Support to Flood Victims in Punjab

MULTAN, September 10, 2025 — Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has assured flood-affected families that the government will provide comprehensive support to help them rebuild their lives, pledging that no victim would be left behind in the province’s recovery efforts.

Addressing survivors during a visit to inundated areas, she promised compensation for the loss of livestock, homes, and even family members. “If anyone has lost their animal, house, or even their loved ones, then I, as your daughter and your sister, promise that the government will fulfill all your losses,” she said.

Maryam emphasized transparency and urgency in the relief process, directing officials to ensure that aid reached every household without delay. The chief minister reiterated her commitment to rehabilitation and reconstruction, vowing to prioritize long-term resilience against future floods.
